Advising HRC World PLC, a franchise holder with the rights to develop and operate Hard Rock Cafés in China, on its successful listing on the Nasdaq First North, Denmark, the market operated by Nasdaq Copenhagen A/S. The Company has a market capitalisation of €150m at the placing price of €1.00 per placing share.

Work Highlights

Advising Liberum Capital in its capacity as broker and nomad, on a placing and open offer raising £12m for Hornby PLC, the famous maker of model railways and scalextric. The funds, in part, will allow Hornby Group plc to implement a new corporate strategy principally involving the creation of new products aimed at younger age groups and international expansion.

Work Highlights

Advising Canaccord Genuity as nominated adviser and broker on the initial public offering of Kore Potash plc on the AIM Market of the London Stock Exchange, with a market cap of AUS$92.6m. Kore Potash is an advanced stage potash exploration and development company whose primary project is located in the Republic of Congo. This deal is the latest step in our wider strategy of expanding our client base in the Mining and Minerals industry and a demonstration of our growing Africa practice.

Advising Panmure Gordon as nominated adviser and broker to Finnish biotec company, Faron Pharmaceuticals Oy, on a placing of new shares to raise £15m. The Placing was the third successful secondary fundraising led by Panmure for Faron over the last 12 months. During that period, Faron's share price has risen from 347p to 882p. Faron is a clinical stage biopharmaceutical company developing novel treatments for medical conditions with significant unmet needs. Faron currently has a pipeline focusing on acute organ traumas, vascular damage and cancer immunotherapy.

Work Highlights

Advising Danish-based Agillic A/S regarding its listing on NASDAQ First North Copenhagen (an alternative exchange based in Denmark and Scandinavia). Agillic has raised €5m (DKK 37m) in connection with the listing finalised in March this year. By being the advisor of one of the first listings under the new regime, our Copenhagen team has successfully positioned themselves as key players in this emerging market.

Advised DP Poland plc, the operator of Domino's Pizza brand and stores in Poland, on its £29.5 million acquisition of Dominium S.A., a Polish based pizza restaurant chain, together with an associated £5.2m fundraising and re-admission of the enlarged group to trading on AIM.
