Bird & Bird advised Nexstim on cooperation and investment agreements with Brainlab

International law firm Bird & Bird has successfully advised Nexstim Plc, a Finnish, globally operating growth-oriented medical technology company, on its cooperation agreement and investment agreement with Brainlab AG, a leading German developer of advanced medical technology solutions.

The cooperation agreement aims at the advancement of non-invasive brain mapping technologies, as well as the distribution of certain Nexstim products by Brainlab in the segment. 

In connection with the cooperation agreement, Brainlab and Nexstim have also agreed on a maximum of EUR 5,095,000 equity investment into Nexstim by Brainlab. 

Bird & Bird’s advisory team, consisting of partners Maria Carlsson, Laura Huomo, and Iina-Mari Supperi, along with Counsel Vuokko Rajamäki and associates Juliana Kliesch, Marla Melin and Rondy Stenman, provided comprehensive legal support for both the cooperation and investment agreements.
