Advising a leading Czech provider of the comprehensive training solutions for armed forces, security forces and crisis management authorities, on the divesture of a 100% business share owned by its subsidiary in the Slovak company Transpoint International (SK).
We advised the client on the matter related to divestiture of its activities in Central European countries including Slovakia, Poland and Czech Republic.

Bird & Bird team had advised a globally active research pharmaceuticals company on the sale of a branded product portfolio in Central and Eastern Europe and the Middle East. The transaction represents the biggest M&A project in the company’s history. Apart from the teams from the Czech Republic, Poland, and Slovakia, the deal required significant cooperation and coordination of work with our best friend companies in Russia, Ukraine, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Austria, Croatia and Slovenia.

We represented a technology company in trade mark opposition proceedings in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. The opposition was against a Slovak national trade mark and the Czech and Hungarian designation of an international trade mark which derives from the Slovakian one.
