Vuokko Rajamäki

I am a senior associate in our Corporate & M&A Group in Helsinki, where I advise our domestic and international clients on capital markets and M&A transactions as well as company and securities law related assignments. I also assist our Energy practice.

I have experience in advising clients on capital markets transactions like IPOs, rights offerings and bond issues as well as public tender offers. Furthermore, I regularly assist both private and public companies on broad range of corporate law related assignments including corporate governance, general meetings and restructuring and support issuers in questions relating to securities markets regulation.

Before joining Bird & Bird, I worked as in-house counsel at one of the leading Nordic banks which deepened my knowledge especially on duties of disclosure and corporate governance of a listed company and credit institution. Working in-house also taught me the importance of having business-minded and practical approach to solving legal problems.

During my career I have also worked at another leading Nordic law firm where I focused on capital markets, public M&A and general corporate law and was seconded to a global law firm in London where I assisted with international debt and equity capital markets transactions.

I am a member of the Finnish Bar Association and have trained at the bench.
