About Me

I am an associate at Bird & Bird in the Intellectual Property department based in Milan. I have experience in a significant variety of intellectual property matters, from multi-jurisdictional litigation to local IP rights enforcement activities.

I joined Bird & Bird at the beginning of my career and, since then, I have been involved in a wide variety of intellectual property matters, both contentious and non-contentious.

Throughout the years, I have mainly specialised in patents, trade marks, trade secrets and designs. I also gained significant experience in the legal protection of video games, in defining and implementing anti-piracy and anti-counterfeiting online campaigns and in combating counterfeiting through customs surveillance.

I work with clients belonging to a variety of different industries, including telecommunications, life sciences, retail and consumer, and media and entertainment. I frequently work with colleagues from all over the world to deal with cross-border issues.

I am used to adapting my work in light of the relevant business sector and the recipient of my assistance, in order to provide effective and efficient solutions and advices.

I graduated with honors in law from University of Parma, with a thesis on patent law titled: "The doctrine of equivalents: a comparatistic analysis". During university, I attended the Hofstra University Law School in New York for a semester.

I am a PhD student in intellectual property and competition law at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. I am also a contributor to legal publications law reviews and various specialised blogs.
