I am a senior associate in the Intellectual Property team, specialising in litigation.
I have been advising clients since 2012. I represent clients in a wide range of disputes relating to trade marks, unfair competition, geographical indications, industrial designs and copyright.
This includes litigation in infringement matters, as well as proceedings before the Polish Patent Office and the administrative courts. I have extensive experience in representing clients before the European Union Intellectual Property Office and the Court of Justice of the European Union. I also handle arbitration matters relating to Internet domain names.
In addition to contentious work, I deal with brand management, as well as commercial agreements, particularly those relating to software, new technologies and marketing activities. I prepare terms and conditions for various marketing activities. I also have extensive experience in conducting due diligence audits involving intellectual property rights and commercial agreements.
Before joining Bird & Bird, I gained professional experience at a renowned Polish law firm. I defended my doctoral dissertation on EU trademark law. I also lecture on intellectual property law at Kozminski University.
