About Me

As an experienced lawyer in our Privacy and Data Protection Practice and our Technology & Communications Sector Group in Frankfurt and Düsseldorf, I advise our clients on all kinds of data protection, IT, online, and copyright matters.

Over the years, I have worked with clients from the public and private sectors in life sciences/healthcare, financial services, retail, automotive and telecomunications, covering the full range of data protection matters and matters related to IT law in commercial transactions, projects and outsourcing matters.

My team and I focus on national and international data protection matters and projects, advising our clients on general FPR compliance, employee, company and inter-company privacy matters, international transfers (including BCRs), customer-facing agreements and general DP compliance of products/services. We also provide advice on innovative and disruptive technologies such as big data, IoT, AI/machine learning, Blockchain (in particular in the industry 4.0), biometrics, telematics, telemedicine, social media, analytics/targeting, mobile apps, cloud computing and mobile network advertising. I have managed a very large number of GDPR compliance projects (also for major international corporates).

I also specialise in drafting and negotiating complex IT contracts, as well as handling contractual and regulatory issues in digital media, mobile, ecommerce and IT security. I have also been involved in a number of transactions and outsourcing projects.

As a regular speaker and writer on IT and data protection topics, I am a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and the German Law and Information Technology Association (DGRI).
