About Me

As a partner in our Munich team, I advise clients from the life sciences sector on matters at the interface between IP, unfair competition and regulatory law. I am a member of our Intellectual Property Practice Group as well as our Life Sciences and Healthcare Sector Group.

Having an IP background, I specialise in advising clients from heavily regulated industries, most notably from the life sciences sector, but also from related sectors such as food and beverages, and cosmetics. My clients range from global players to innovative start-ups.

I am experienced in contentious and non-contentious matters relating to the commercialisation of the products and services offered by clients from these sectors. This includes in particular the distribution, labelling and advertising of pharmaceuticals and medical devices. With another focus on digital and AI applications as well as telemedicine services, I offer expert regulatory guidance to address the unique challenges and opportunities faced by life sciences organizations in this domain. I represent clients in substantial and complex litigation – mostly with competitors – as well as advising them on the regulatory and general legal framework for marketing their products in Germany. I support clients in contractual matters with creative advice and assist foreign companies in entering the EU market.
