Alexander Grigg

I am an associate in our Intellectual Property Group based in London, focusing on contentious matters.

During my time at Bird & Bird I have been involved with a broad spectrum of work ranging from large-scale patent and trade mark litigation to brand protection and non-contentious advice. I therefore understand how to adapt to a variety of Intellectual Property issues and tailor advice to any client's circumstances. My key focus is on contentious work

I also have experience in complex cross-jurisdictional matters having coordinated detailed advice from a large number of jurisdictions and tailored it to the client's brief. Being able to speak French and German, I can also understand and digest legal issues from outside the UK.

I have a keen interest in the Media Entertainment and Sports sector, and in particular, in the developing sector of esports and video games. I am also a contributor to the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys Journal and am a member of the MediaWrites team, a news hub by our Media, Entertainment and Sports group.
