My engagement in M&A transactions usually begins well before the kick-off and ends long after the closing. In between, I serve my clients along the way to a successful completion of our project not only as an experienced expert but also as pioneer, sparring partner, trusted advisor, troubleshooter and highly motivated team player.
I have been working in the Duesseldorf office since 2020 as a partner in our international Corporate Practice Group. I give advice on M&A transactions, joint ventures, restructuring and corporate law. My work focuses on cross-border M&A transactions for German and international strategic investors. In addition, I have specialised experience in distressed M&A, in sales mandates (including auction procedures) and in advising private equity investors and their portfolio companies.
Before joining our firm, I worked for roughly ten years in the Corporate/M&A departments of two major German law firms in Duesseldorf, and completed a secondment of several months at a global law firm in Boston in the Private Equity Transactions group.
My advisory services particularly focus on M&A transactions in the dynamic industry sectors of technology & communications, and retail & consumer goods. In the technology & communication sector, it is extremely interesting to guide my clients in investments in future technology. In this way, I learn about technology that will revolutionize our future at an early stage. The retail & consumer goods sector is in a phase of disruptive change. Supporting my clients in adapting and expanding their business models through M&A transactions is as challenging as it is exciting.
