I specialise in competition law, particularly in the automotive sector. Being a Counsel in our Competition & EU Practice and Automotive Sector Group, I have more than ten years of professional experience, including in-house.

I assist organisations that are being changed by technology, or that drive that change, holding their ground in an increasingly complex legal world. My particular areas of expertise include IP, R&D, (online) distribution and supply chain management, cartel damages and compliance.

Over more than a decade now, I have built my practice around German & EU competition law, with a particular focus on the automotive supply industry where I advise clients at the interface of competition and IP, in supply chain issues, M&A transactions, cooperations with competitors, internal and external investigations and, more broadly speaking, compliance.

Having worked with global industry leaders, including in automotive, consumer electronics and telecoms, as well as major brand owners in the luxury and sports industries, I seek to combine legal excellence with first-hand industry insight, adding value to your business. Clients that I have been able to work with cherish my understanding of the market dynamics behind the law, critical thinking and plain language.

Before rejoining our firm in 2016, I acted as a Compliance Officer for the automotive and industrial components business of thyssenkrupp AG. I serve as external legal counsel to a major US-based industry association and am a member of Studienvereinigung Kartellrecht, the German Competition Lawyers Association. I received my doctorate in law from the university of Münster and hold an intermediate diploma in competition economics from the university of Bayreuth.
