Charlotte has experience advising on all aspects of trade mark portfolio management. Charlotte advises brand owners on strategy for existing, expanding, and new brands, including carrying out clearance searches and advising on potential third party conflicts. Charlotte also acts on trade mark prosecution matters and has represented clients in opposition proceedings, revocation proceedings and invalidity proceedings before the UK and EU Intellectual Property Offices, both at first instance and on appeal.
Charlotte is also interested in commercial work, which formed part of her training, and has experience negotiating and drafting a range of commercial agreements, including licence agreements, assignment agreements, and co-existence agreements.
Charlotte has acted for clients across a wide range of sectors, including fashion and luxury, consumer, hospitality, education, media and entertainment, technology, and financial services.
Before law school, Charlotte studied Classics and graduated from the University of Nottingham with a first class degree.
