Bird & Bird advised Allenby Capital on a placing by EnSilica

Bird & Bird are delighted to announce that we have advised our longstanding client, Allenby Capital, as nominated adviser and broker on a placing by AIM-listed EnSilica Plc. The Placing raised gross proceeds of £1.56 million.

EnSilica, which listed on AIM in May 2022, is a leading fabless design house focused on custom ASIC design and supply for OEMs and system houses, as well as IC design services for companies with their own design teams. It has world-class expertise in supplying custom ICs to its international customers in the automotive, industrial, healthcare and communications markets. EnSilica has developed a large potential sales pipeline, and the proceeds of the placing will be used to take advantage of this opportunity, and support the tender and execution of new customer contracts.

Founded in 2009, Allenby Capital is a leading adviser and broker to rapidly growing businesses seeking to access private or public equity capital.

The Bird & Bird team was led by Corporate team partner Michael Dawes, assisted by Zoe Symes and Amy Donlevey.

Michael commented: “Having originally advised Allenby on EnSilica’s admission to AIM last year, it’s nice to assist with this further fundraising, providing EnSilica with the necessary working capital to take advantage of its increased customer pipeline. It’s also encouraging to have advised on our third secondary fundraising in the past three weeks, in spite of current difficult market conditions.
