Bird & Bird has assisted leading growth investor Vitruvian Partners in the divestment of Unifaun, a leading cloud delivery orchestration platform serving the European logistics ecosystem, to Marlin Equity Partners.
Headquartered in Stockholm, Unifaun is the leading Nordic provider and is currently expanding throughout Europe, partnering with Vitruvian since 2016. In addition to strengthening its core shipper and carrier solutions, Unifaun has developed a specialised B2C eCommerce module, launched the plug-and-play Delivery Checkout solution providing eCommerce shippers with multiple delivery options, and brought to market the MyParcel tracking app for parcel recipients, which has reached over 1.5 million downloads since launch.
With its unique Nordic and pan-European offering and expertise, Bird & Bird has particular strength advising Private Equity players in the Nordic and Northern European region with a seamless cross-border M&A team and a particular knowledge of the tech sector.
