‘Compensation’ versus ‘punishment’ in Polish copyright – a major court ruling ahead

A recent opinion of the Advocate General in Stowarzyszenie 'Oławska Telewizja Kablowa' w Oławie v Stowarzyszenie Filmowców Polskich w Warszawie case C-367/15 suggests that the principal elements of copyright enforcement law in Poland might have to change.
