Data protection in the HR space is an increasingly complex area for Privacy and HR teams. HR teams in your business may manage significant amounts of personal data, often in sensitive circumstances. Understanding data protection legislation in the context of employee management is particularly tricky for HR and Privacy practitioners alike, and getting it wrong can have significant consequences.

Bird & Bird’s annual HR Data Essentials event was spread over two days on 21 April and 25 April 2022. Experts from our International Privacy & Data Protection and HR Services teams updated on developments and considered the hot topics to provide an analysis and top tips for tackling key data-related issues in employment.
