Tom Jakobeit

As an associate in the Commercial team in our Munich office, I advise national and international clients on all aspects of commercial, product liability and product safety law.

I advise our clients on issues and disputes relating to warranty, contract termination and cost recovery as well as upstream and downstream supply chain issues, including delivery stops and price increases. I also assist our clients in negotiating, reviewing, and drafting of complex commercial contracts and general terms and conditions, in particular in cross-border contexts.

I work primarily for companies in the automotive industry and am an active member of our International Automotive Group.

Another key area of my practice is product compliance, which includes product liability and product safety. Particularly, I advise clients on the legal requirements for sustainable product design (eco-design).

I work in German and English, and I'm also fully fluent in Spanish.
