About Me

I'm an employment and disputes lawyer heading up both practices at Bird & Bird Singapore. I solve people problems with business impact.

The industry knows us to be among the best employment litigators in Singapore. We represent clients from the Firm's key sectors (tech, finance, media, life sciences, aviation) in the full range of employment disputes, excelling in non-compete, trade secret theft and C-suite executive compensation litigation. We are regularly called upon to advise on sensitive and high-stakes team moves and to negotiate employee exits.

We work with people as well as compliance teams on responding to whistleblower reports and conducting investigations. Our investigations experience range from workplace psychosocial hazards to bribery & corruption and other forms of employee financial misconduct, both as investigator and counsel. We work with companies as they navigate the complexities of compliance and regulatory regimes in Singapore and the region.

I also enjoy an active disputes practice. I specialise in founders' disputes, director's breaches of fiduciary duty claims and minority oppression, where the legal strategy complements the broader business strategy. We work with investors, start-ups and founders with a view to protecting and realising the value of the investment.

Our regional employment practice supports multinational clients in their labour and employment issues. We specialise in managing complex, usually multi-region employment projects and have worked on a number of high-profile reduction-in-force involving regulator scrutiny, as well as day-to-day employment matters. We are the go-to employment counsel for organisations looking for practical and empathetic advice.

You will find us ranked and recognised in all major legal directories for the work that we do.
