Olivia Zhao

I'm an intellectual property associate at Bird & Bird China, based in our Shanghai office. My practice focuses on complex litigation involving patents, trade secrets, and other intellectual property litigation, as well as counseling on IP diligence, licensing, and protecting intellectual property rights.

I have experience handling complex litigation cases, or components of larger litigation cases with the team. I have also represented clients in life science, tech & comms, and retail & consumer sectors in their intellectual property authorization, diligence, licensing, operation, negotiation, and protection.

Before joining Bird & Bird, I worked in a leading RPC law firm's IP group and a boutique IP law firm in Washington, DC, the United States.
