I am a counsel in our Dutch Corporate department, specialised in complex governance, capital and corporate transactional matters.

As an experienced candidate civil law notary, I regularly advise clients on their governance, strategic decisions, corporate structure, financial reporting, relationship with stakeholders, employee participation and compliance with corporate governance codes. I also assist clients on domestic and cross-border acquisitions, investments, restructuring, and relocations.

Whether a client is in their upscaling phase, family owned, forming a joint venture, state owned or publicly listed; each has its own set of corporate challenges to face. I understand these challenges, and I happily help our clients finding practical solutions that best fit their specific needs.

My advice often covers a wide range of topics of Dutch corporate law. I have also advised some of the largest Dutch cooperatives on their membership and governance structure, whether or not in combination with the large company regime (structuurregime).

I enjoy doing all this in close conjunction with colleagues from other disciplines across the firm when needed, both national and international. It enables our Dutch corporate notarial practice to advise and assist on complex corporate structures, governance and transactions that are assessed from a wide range of expertises and jurisdictions in an efficient and well-coordinated manner.

• I joined Bird & Bird in 2022. Before that, I worked for a Tier 1 Dutch law firm both in Amsterdam and London for 11 years. I was seconded to Slaughter and May in London in 2018 and 2019.
