About Me

I advise national and international companies on all regulatory and contractual aspects of information technology and telecommunications. This includes advising on strategic approaches to the authorities and representing clients in court.

My aim is to help our clients navigate a highly regulated environment to find legally sound yet practical solutions for the use of innovative technologies.

One of my main areas of practice is telecommunications law. I advise on the legally compliant design of new products and business models as well as on the ongoing implementation of the complex regulatory requirements in the telecommunications sector. I have advised on matters such as frequency assignment, use of numbering resources, net neutrality, telecommunications-specific data protection requirements, market regulation, network expansion, public safety (e.g., lawful intercept) and customer protection requirements, including the drafting of relevant contractual terms and conditions.

I am particularly interested in the latest European regulation of the digital space. In this area, I advise clients, for example, on the impact of the regulations on artificial intelligence (AI Act) and data utilisation (Data Act).

In addition, I advise businesses of all sizes on cyber security (including the NIS-2 Directive and KRITIS) and data protection requirements.

I publish regularly and share my knowledge as a lecturer in telecommunications law at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT).
