Ivan Kisely

As a partner of the Bird & Bird office in Slovakia, I offer more than 12 years of experience supporting clients predominantly on Corporate/M&A transactions and commercial contracts with a strong expertise in innovative projects in the Automotive and Defence industry.

I specialise on mergers, acquisitions, corporate restructuring schemes, corporate governance and shareholder disputes. I further support clients in regulatory issues in selected fields, public procurement matters, compliance and white collar crime.

Having spent part of my legal career on secondment as the General Counsel at a market leading European company in the operation of high-power charging stations for electric cars on highways, I use my immersion into this industry as a springboard to gain and extend my expertise into innovative legal fields, such as electromobility, connected cars, autonomous vehicles and artificial intelligence.

Outside of the automotive industry sector, I have advised clients in a spectrum of industries over the years. These include energy & utilities, life sciences, technology and gaming, as well as aviation & defence.

Before joining Bird & Bird, I worked in another reputable international law firm.
