About Me

I am an associate in Bird & Bird's International Commercial Group, based in the Dublin office where I specialise in Technology, Media, Entertainment and Sports.

Having previously worked in-house in the sports and media sector and more recently, the digital media sector, I have advised clients on negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts such as Software License Agreements and Reseller Agreements as well as more specialised sports agreements. Additionally, I have experience in drafting and updating contractual arrangements enabling a business to enter into new markets.

Prior to joining Bird & Bird, I gained experience as a solicitor in private practice, advising Tech start-up companies on their legal requirements and funding rounds. I have also spent time in London where I worked in a global sports, events, and talent management company as part of their in-house legal team. My experience in this sector includes reviewing and drafting Broadcast Rights Contracts and Player Contracts for many large sporting and media events globally, and dealing with related areas such as intellectual property, data protection obligations in such arrangements.

Additionally, I have worked in one of the 'Big Four' Accounting Firms in their in-house legal team where I advised on areas such as data protection, contract reviews and providing legislative updates.

As I have worked in-house across a number of sectors, I particularly enjoy communicating legal concepts and arguments in a friendly and easily digestible way while also remaining commercially focused.
