As an international tax partner here at Bird & Bird, I am head of our Swedish Tax group, offering over 22 years' experience as an adviser on Swedish and international corporate tax.

I have significant, in-depth expertise in corporate taxation, focusing on M&A and restructuring, I am also an experienced tax litigator and - according to International Tax Review - one of Sweden's leading real estate experts.

Throughout my legal career, I have focused on complex transactions and structuring, as well as on tax litigation and day-to-day tax advice. Today, I help our clients on matters ranging from minor tax issues to assuming overall responsibility for tax and structuring in private and public transactions. I also assist a number of clients in disputes with the Swedish Tax Agency and before the courts. I take a proactive approach and always make sure I fully understand my clients' business, strategy and goal, and adapt my advice accordingly.

In addition, I am a specialist adviser to real estate funds, institutional real estate owners and listed real estate companies. My clients also include multinational corporations and private equity companies.

I frequently lecture both in Sweden and abroad. I have written a number of articles on tax in Swedish and international publications. I am also the author of the book "Interpretation and Application of the Tax Avoidance Act" (Wolters Kluwer/Norstedts Juridik, 2015) and the commentary of the Tax Avoidance Act (Norstedts Juridik, 2017).
