Bertrand Joussain

As a member of the tax team, I am involved in tax matters for companies and individuals.

Specialising in French and international tax law, I regularly advise companies and their managers, both in the day-to-day tax management of their activities, and in national and cross-border transactions (mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, private equity and real estate transactions).

An important part of my activity is also dedicated to the settlement of tax audits and tax disputes.

I also work with private clients, mainly company directors, in the field of asset taxation.

I also assist industrial clients and investment funds in acquisition transactions, in both due diligence and structuring aspects.

Before joining Bird & Bird's tax team in 2020, I worked as a tax lawyer for 7 years in an international French law firm.
