About Me

I am an associate specialising in intellectual property and contractual law in our Helsinki office, where I advise on a broad range of IP-related issues, including IP contracts, transfers and licensing.

I have hands-on experience in the publishing sector and collective management of intellectual property rights, as well as working with independent consultants and small start-up companies advising on the transfer of technology and licensing matters.

Before joining our firm, I worked for Academic Engineers and Architects in Finland (TEK) advising on employment law, contractual matters and IP. I have also worked for the Association of Finnish Non-Fiction Writers, advising on copyright and contracts.

Thanks to my versatile professional experience, I am accustomed to continuous learning. I believe that creating high quality judicial solutions requires learning and understanding the client's business. I find it necessary to orientate to the business and operational environment of the client.

Also, I graduated from Hanken School of Economics where I studied intellectual property law. In recent years, I have published articles as well given lectures on copyright law.

I am a member of the board of the Finnish Fashion Law Association and a member of the Finnish Association for Industrial Property Rights, the Finnish IT Law Association and the Finnish Copyright Society.
