Samrad Nazer

As a partner in our Finance & Financial Regulation Group in London, I have in-depth experience in cross-border and domestic debt finance, syndicate financings, capital markets, venture capital finance, structured finance and restructurings. I am based in our London office but work as part of our international finance team.

Working on behalf of European and US private equity sponsors, lenders, borrowers, hedge funds, venture capital firms, development banks and other corporates, I have extensive expertise in the tech, energy, fintech, manufacturing, insurance and sports & leisure sectors and a particular interest in private equity, venture capital and alternative finance.

My practice includes acquisition and leveraged finance – senior and mezzanine – and debt restructurings, real estate finance, debt capital markets, private placements and venture capital.

Before joining Bird & Bird, I was a partner at another international law firm. My international credentials include periods working in London and Tokyo, advising clients throughout Europe, the US, Asia and the Middle East. I speak English, French and Persian.
