I am a senior associate in the International HR Services group in London. I provide strategic and practical solutions for clients on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters.

Acting for a broad range of clients from global financial institutions to multinational corporates, my experience includes drafting and negotiating settlement agreements and employment contracts, reviewing and updating employment policies and handbooks, and advising on the employment aspects of large cross-border corporate transactions, including TUPE issues on business transfers and outsourcings. I also advise clients on both individual and collective redundancy exercises.

In addition, I provide strategic advice to clients in relation to employment tribunal proceedings, including unfair dismissal, unlawful deductions from wages, whistleblowing and discrimination cases, and have experience in alternative dispute resolution including the mediation of employment disputes.

I have enhanced my professional experience by working on part-time secondment to a prominent newspaper group for 18 months, where I advised on a number of employment matters including complex disciplinary and grievance issues as well as day-to-day HR queries.

  • A global clinical research organisation: I advise on day to day HR issues including disciplinary and performance management cases and coordinate advice on employment matters across Europe.
  • A listed construction company: I act as UK counsel in respect to ongoing group litigation in the Employment Tribunal and provide commercially focussed advice on the strategic considerations relevant to dealing with the same.
  • A multinational apparel company: I act as a trusted employment adviser on a wide range of compliance and HR issues and most recently advised on a complex breach of confidence matter.
