I am an associate in our commercial team in Düsseldorf where I specialise in copyright, media, unfair competition and advertising law, advising our clients in the media and entertainment industries as well as in the consumer products and healthcare sectors.
Before joining our firm, I worked as legal counsel at the German collective management society GEMA focusing on German, European and international copyright and collective rights management. This experience provided me with an in-depth knowledge of collective licensing and related issues in the music and broadcasting industries. Today, besides providing advice on media law and copyright matters, I handle regulatory issues related to consumer and pharmaceutical products, including the launch of new products, advertising and distribution as well as respective claims and litigation.Outside my practice, I publish regularly on topical issues in copyright, media and unfair competition law.

- Studies of law at the University of Würzburg with a special focus on European law
- Research fellow at the Institute for Legal History, teaching classes on civil law and contracts
- Ph.D. studies with a doctoral thesis on the argumentation technique of ancient roman lawyers
