I am a consultant in the Employment team based in Hong Kong.
I am an experienced employment lawyer, handling both contentious and non-contentious matters, and specialise in investigations, discrimination, data privacy, restructuring and APAC regional projects.

When people ask me what kind of law I do, I tell them I work on 'people matters'. Whether it's handling contentious terminations, investigating a workplace complaint, negotiating a settlement, defending clients before the courts or the Equal Opportunities Commission or the Privacy Commissioner, redesigning workplace policies or helping clients understand the ramifications of restructuring their organisations across the region, it's really all about people. The human element of the work I do, helping clients to navigate through those difficult conversations and decisions, and being strategically thoughtful and creative in achieving the best outcomes for clients, is what I love most.

With more than 20 years of litigation and advisory experience, I have counselled companies across a range of industry sectors, including financial services, technology, logistics, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, education, entertainment, hospitality and media.

Having worked in private practice for more than 15 years, and a further 7 years working for a global bank as head of employment, Asia Pacific, I am fortunate to be able to bring to the table a breadth and depth of insight which clients find valuable.

I work closely with a fabulous team of employment lawyers, who not only enjoy and are good at what they do, but who also like each other. We work seamlessly together and meet daily to ensure we are on top of client needs as well as the latest legal developments.
