Christine assists clients to strengthen their intellectual property portfolios by devising global clearance and filing strategies and providing strategic commercial advice on the enforcement of their intellectual property rights
Christine is a Senior Associate in our Intellectual Property Department, based in London.
She advises clients on the protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights including trade marks, copyright and designs.
Christine manages large scale global intellectual property portfolios for international brands and advises clients on the clearance, filing, prosecution, registration and enforcement of trade marks and designs, the enforcement of copyright, online conduct issues and the recovery of domain names, as well as anti-counterfeiting and customs strategies.
She is experienced in acting for clients in a range of industries including fashion, architecture and design, retail, automotive, food and beverage, education and agricultural industries.
Christine also has a broad range of litigation experience, representing clients in intellectual property disputes, including in proceedings concerning trade mark, design and copyright infringement, as well as misuse of confidential information, parallel importation, anti-counterfeiting, passing off and trade practices issues. She is also experienced in prosecuting and defending trade mark oppositions and revocation actions.
Christine qualified in Victoria, Australia and holds a Bachelor of Laws (with Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts (Media & Communications) from The University of Melbourne.
Prior to joining us in 2018, Christine practised in the Intellectual Property team of an international law firm in Melbourne, Australia. In 2015, Christine was seconded to the firm's London office for 6 months.
