We advise PostNL on sale of German business operations to Quantum

International law firm Bird & Bird recently advised Dutch Post, PostNL on the sale of its German business operations “Postcon” to Quantum Capital Partners. Postcon is the second biggest mail provider in Germany.
The exact purchase price has not been disclosed. The transaction is subject to a number of conditions, including merger clearance, and is expected to close before the end of 2019.
Postcon processes more than 1 billion letters per year and has a market share of around 10% in Germany. The company employs about 5,300 direct and indirect employees.
