As a Counsel in our Corporate / M&A Team in Munich, I focus on domestic and international venture capital and venture lending transactions for emerging and high-growth companies.

The international law firm Bird & Bird has advised the Spanish health-tech venture capital firm, Nina Capital, on its investment in the Munich-based health-tech startup, RYVER.AI.

Nina Capital led the financing round, other investors include Bayern Kapital (Germany) and FundF (Austria). The capital will primarily be used for technical development, personnel and computing capacity. RYVER.AI develops generative models that enable medical AI providers to generate a wide range of test and training data quickly and cost-effectively. The start-up aims to solve the data shortage for medical AI without jeopardizing patient privacy. The company develops generative AI to create artificial but highly realistic datasets of radiological images.

Nina Capital was advised by the following Bird & Bird lawyers: counsel Andrea Schlote (lead), Partner Stefan Münch, counsel Dr. Christina Lorenz, associate Louisa Graf (all Corporate/M&A, Munich), Partner Martin von Haller Grønbæk (Commercial, Copenhagen) and associate Yvonne Schaafs (IP, Munich).
