Bird & Bird advised Eficode in acquiring Riada to lead the Atlassian business in Sweden

Bird & Bird’s cross-border team in Finland and Sweden has advised Eficode, Europe's leading DevOps company, in the acquisition of Riada, a market leader in Atlassian consulting and the provider of managed services for Atlassian software in Sweden. Together Eficode and Riada will become a leader in the Atlassian market in Northern Europe.

Eficode announced that with the acquisition, the company doubles down on the strong growth of the Atlassian software ecosystem and on the adoption of agile and DevOps practices and tools.

Bird & Bird’s legal team was led by Partner Katia Duncker from our office in Helsinki.

“It was a pleasure to assist Eficode in this important transaction which allows the company to continue on its growth journey. Our know-how and competence as legal advisors in cross-border transactions is especially strong and our clients benefit from our vast pool of legal experts not only in the Nordics, but around the world.”

Other team members included Krista Keinänen (Finland) and Simon Söderholm, Sofia Ekeryd, Karin Tukiainen and Olivia Onwuta (Sweden).
