Bird & Bird wins Diversity Innovation at the Legal Innovations Awards

Last week Bird & Bird was recognised at Legal Week's Legal Innovations Awards 2018, winning the award for Diversity Innovation of the year. The firm was also shortlisted in the Client Management Innovation category for our Matter Management Tools & Templates; and in the category for PR & Communications Innovation for our report on Artificial Intelligence which has positioned us as thought leaders in this area.

Our winning initiative involved our highly original Women's Leadership Development Programme, Bird & Bird's bespoke firm-wide programme to support more women on the path to partnership.

Individuals from Bird & Bird attended the ceremony in London last week to collect the award,  which is further testament to our firm's position as an innovator within the legal profession and follows on from our incredible success at the MPF Awards earlier this year where we won awards for 'Best Corporate Culture', 'Best Collaboration with External Specialists', 'Best Programme for Leadership Development' and CEO David Kerr was recognised in the 'Exceptional Achievement by an Individual' category.

Now in their fourth year, these awards are held by Legal Week, a leading UK legal publication whose sister publication is The American Lawyer. They recognise leaders who are innovating within their sectors and those working on  precedent-setting, game-changing projects and initiatives.
