Bird & Bird's Media group today launch MediaWrites - a sharp mix of media industry news with a legal edge

MediaWrites will produce regular commercial insights about the industry, along with video content featuring Bird & Bird's lawyers and clients.

It will be aimed at both media in-house counsel, who'll find technical pieces on legal and regulatory issues a handy resource, as well as media industry professionals - providing them with articles on key trends and developments.

Lead by an editorial team within Bird & Bird's Media group, the content will be of an international flavour covering the remit of Bird & Bird's 28 offices, and will be split across six sub-sectors: broadcasting, music, publishing, advertising & marketing, gaming, social media & digital content providers.

It will also feature shorter, 'hot topic' blasts on subjects such as the Cloud, data protection and the Internet of Things

Phil Sherrell, head of Bird & Bird's Media, Entertainment and Sports group says: "We're really excited to be launching MediaWrites, bringing together the wealth of knowledge in Bird & Bird's media team across the globe. It's  is another way that we can share insight with our clients, helping them to stay up to date with key trends that will affect their industry."

MediaWrites  launched on Wednesday 25th May, and is available at: www.mediawrites.law
