In corporate practice, the use of data is omnipresent these days. Often underestimated or overlooked, specifically in the modern human resources area, data are playing an ever-increasing role.

In recent years, our clients have been paying increasing attention to protecting the privacy of their employees. An important aspect of the topic that hasn’t received as much attention is the pragmatic use of data protection rules in collective labour relations. In the context of ongoing relations between management and employee representatives in company bodies and/or external trade unionists, a lot of information and data are exchanged.
