Tom Nicholls

I am an associate in the Dispute Resolution group, based in Sydney. I assist our clients, primarily in the technology and communications and media and entertainment sectors, in resolving complex issues and disputes.

Since entering practice, I have worked on multiple high value and complex matters. This includes large class action litigation and cross-jurisdictional disputes. I have been closely involved on matters in courts such as the High Court of Australia, the Federal Court of Australia and the Supreme Court of New South Wales.

I have a particular interest in contemporary areas of law such as data protection, privacy and sports disputes. I enjoy watching these areas evolve and adapt to constantly changing landscapes, and ensure I keep up to date with developments.

Prior to joining Bird & Bird, I worked at a large national firm where I was involved in several notable class actions and high value disputes, across multiple sectors.
