Siuzan Ali Khaled

I am an immigration consultant in the Employment team in Warsaw.

I have been advising clients since 2016, specialising in Polish immigration law. I assist businesses across the whole spectrum of legal and
administrative matters related to legalising non-Polish nationals' stay and work in Poland.

I have extensive experience representing private clients and businesses before public administration authorities and offices (Provincial Offices, Employment Offices and Tax Offices). I advise on immigration matters, including appellate procedures, and prepare written submissions in administrative procedures.

I provide clients with day-to-day information on pending official procedures and conduct recruitment interviews on behalf of clients.

Since March 2022, I have been actively involved in pro bono work, supporting Ukrainian refugees fleeing the war. I assist clients by e-mail, over the phone and in person, advising them on how they can work and stay in Poland legally. I speak Polish, Ukrainian, Russian and English.

Before joining Bird & Bird, I gained professional experience in several Polish companies specialising in employment law. I was involved in employment, terminations, legalising non-Polish citizens' stay and work in Poland, and advised on starting up and running a business in Poland or other EU member states.
