Piotr Jaworek

I am a senior associate in our Real Estate practice. I specialise in real estate sale and purchase transactions for industry investment purposes and financing real estate transactions. I have experience in preparing and negotiating commercial real estate premises.

I have been providing legal advisory services since 2006. I specialise in M&A and real estate transactions. I have participated in transactions of acquisition of real estate as investment in the agricultural and food industry. I have been involved in over a dozen corporate and real estate due diligence audits. I have also provided legal advice to industry and financial investors at all stages of transactions, starting from designing the structure to closing. I have managed asset deals and share deals, and advised investors on acquisition of distressed assets.

I also have extensive experience in financing transactions with credit facilities; and have prepared and negotiated credit facility agreements and accompanying credit security documentation.

I have also participated in numerous negotiations involving lease of commercial properties, representing both lessors and lessees.

Moreover, I have experience representing clients in litigation and arbitration proceedings involving disputes between parties to M&A transactions.

Before joining Bird & Bird I gained my experience working in a number of Polish and international law firms.
