I am a Counsel in Warsaw, where I co-head our Competition & Consumer Protection team.
I have been advising businesses since 2011 and have extensive experience in consumer protection law, e-commerce regulations, and new technology law, with a particular focus on online platforms.
I support international and domestic clients from the retail sector, including clients engaged in e-commerce, financial services and the operation of online platforms, advising on current legal issues connected with advertising campaigns, both in digital and non-digital media, loyalty programs, sales promotions, competitions, and new regulations on price reductions. I have extensive experience in working with businesses on the comprehensive implementation of new regulations and requirements applicable to e-commerce and online platforms (including Omnibus, DSA, EAA). I advise on business practice compliance under B2C, B2B and P2B2C models.
I have extensive experience in representing businesses before regulators (the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection, the Trade Inspection Authority) as well as in consumer disputes conducted by consumer ombudsmen.
A particular area of my interest is the compliance of business interfaces with new regulations, including dark patterns in particular.
I am the author of publications on consumer protection law, legal aspects of e-commerce, including the impact of new EU regulations on businesses, and am a speaker at training events and workshops on these topics.
Before joining Bird & Bird, I gained professional experience working at renowned law firms.
