As a corporate/M&A lawyer based in our Düsseldorf office, I advise national and international clients from the private sector on complex private M&A transactions and financing rounds with a focus on private equity and venture capital. In particular, I have developed a sector focus on life sciences and healthcare.

I advise on national and cross-border corporate transactions across all phases - from preparation and structuring to due diligence, contract negotiations and post-merger integration. I also advise on reorganisations and restructurings, joint ventures and financing rounds in the venture capital sector.

Thanks to my in-depth industry knowledge in the life sciences and healthcare sector and my extensive network, I can ensure that our advice is tailored to the specific challenges of each individual transaction. However, in past transactions, I have worked closely with international companies and have learnt to anticipate complex challenges from a wide variety of markets and translate them into tailor-made solutions.

My clients include large corporations as well as family businesses, strategic investors, founders, business angels and funds. At the same time, what particularly excites me about my work as a lawyer is that I can support our clients in realising their business visions and thus make an important contribution to their long-term success.

Prior to joining Bird & Bird, I worked for leading UK and German law firms in Düsseldorf.
