Lukas Matthes

As an associate in the international Intellectual Property Group based in Munich, I advise and represent clients on a wide range of IP matters, especially in relation to patent litigation and proceedings before the UPC.

I completed my law degree at LMU Munich with an emphasis on International Law, followed by my legal traineeship at the Higher Regional Court of Munich.

Before joining Bird & Bird, I gained practical experience at several international law firms in Munich and Brussels, working as a trainee lawyer in areas including Dispute Resolution, Antitrust and Competition.
