I am a Senior Data Protection Advisor and French lawyer specialised in Data Protection and Privacy based in France and Morocco.
Leading the development of our practice across the African continent, I advise and assist Moroccan, French and international companies on issues related to personal data protection, privacy, AI and cybersecurity, including ensuring compliance with the GDPR and Moroccan Law 09-08.
My work covers a broad range of areas, including helping clients to develop and implement privacy protection policies, drafting and negotiating contracts related to personal data processing, conducting impact assessments, and managing security breaches. I also represent clients in digital litigation and represent organisations in audits and dispute resolutions before the CNIL and the CNDP.
Having served as an external Data Protection Officer (DPO) for several companies in different sectors, such as telecommunications and e-commerce, I bring practical experience in safeguarding data.
I also conduct training sessions, university and business school classes, and am the author of publications in specialised journals.
I hold a master's degree in International Business and Management from SKEMA Business School, as well as master's degrees in European and International Business Law and Intellectual Property Law and New Technologies. I am also a member of the Paris Bar Association.
Prior to joining Bird & Bird, I established my own law firm after gaining professional experience in IP/IT, data protection, and international business law in law firms and industrial property consulting firms in Paris, Casablanca, Monaco, and New York.
