Katie Grimstone

I am an associate in our international Corporate Group in London. I advise on a range of corporate matters, including M&A transactions, venture capital, private equity and general corporate advisory.

I work with a variety of clients at different stages of the corporate life cycle and in a number of sectors, with a particular focus on media, entertainment and sport. Many of the transactions I advise on are cross-border and involve collaborating with specialists across the firm's international network.

I joined Bird & Bird as a trainee in 2023 and was admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2025. During my training, I was seconded to a national sports governing body, which gave me invaluable insight into the operational, commercial and regulatory challenges faced by our clients.

Alongside my core work, I am an editor of and regular contributor to MediaWrites, Bird & Bird's industry news hub covering all things media, entertainment, and sport.
