Jonathan Baker

I am a partner and the head of Bird & Bird's Real Estate group, specialising in all aspects of commercial property advice for a wide variety of our clients, with particular expertise in development and finance. I also jointly lead the Finance and Real Estate groups in London.

I manage our team to ensure that the right lawyer is assigned to the task and that we consistently deliver a first rate service to our clients, on time and within budget. The quality and experience of our team in each of our offices enables us to seamlessly and consistently handle our client's real estate needs throughout the world.

I have over the years developed particular expertise in complex development and real estate finance projects as well as the real estate aspects of major corporate and infrastructure projects. Our construction and environmental lawyers provide specialist advice in relation to such projects as well as comprehensive and commercial advice on a wide range of construction and environmental matters.
