John Danahy

I am a partner in our Real Estate team, based in London. My practice is focused on the efficient delivery of major real estate, energy and infrastructure transactions for leading international fund, investor, developer and operator clients.

My sector focus is broad and covers a wide range of traditional real estate capability supplemented with a strong focus on real estate in the energy sector and experience of infrastructure projects.

I help clients realise their commercial objectives across a range of asset classes including logistics, office, industrial, energy, leisure and healthcare.

My energy practice covers real estate across all forms of new energy / renewables, demand response (battery storage and gas), nuclear (new build and decommissioning), large scale gas, distributed energy networks, infrastructure, power cables and pipelines.

I have also co-founded a number of legal AI startups, including Contract Genetica and Dxta.ai I am proficient at programming and developing full stack applications leveraging the revolutionary power of large language models in a legal context.
