About Me

Since 2017, I have been working as an associate in our Düsseldorf office as a member of the regulatory and administrative practice group. In the area of public commercial law, I advise in particular on issues of public procurement law, competition law and European law.

I specialise in advising public clients and companies from the private sector. I advise on IT and telecommunications projects and on the procurement of software and hardware, including in the defence and security sectors. In addition to public procurement law, competition law and European law, I also advise on the drafting of contracts (general terms and conditions, EVB-IT, etc.) and the execution of contracts.
A particular focus of my advice is the integration of social and environmental aspects of ESG issues (environmental, social & governance) into procurement projects.

In addition, I advise on public law issues relating to public procurement, foreign trade and subsidy law in corporate transactions.

During my law studies, I specialised in European and national competition and antitrust law, intellectual property law and corporate law in the field of markets and competition.
During my legal clerkship I worked at the Federal Network Agency (Bundesnetzagentur) for Electricity, Gas, Telecommunications, Post and Railway. I also specialised in commercial and corporate law at a law firm and worked in the field of energy law at a law firm of one of the Big Four accountancy firms. Following my legal clerkship, I gained experience as a legal advisor in the legal department of a postal company.
