I am an associate in our Public Projects and Procurement Practice Group, based in Düsseldorf, advising our clients particularly on public procurement, competition and EU law.
My focus is on public federal and state authorities and municipal data centres as well as the private sector. Here I specialise in IT and telecommunications projects as well as software and hardware procurement. In addition to public projects, procurement, competition and EU law, I also advise in the field of contract design (GTC, EVB-IT, etc.).
During my legal studies I focused on European and national competition law, antitrust law, industrial property rights and corporate law in the area of 'market and competition'.
I completed my legal clerkship in Wuppertal, Düsseldorf and Bonn, including stations at the Federal Network Agency (Bundesnetzagentur) for electricity, gas, telecommunications, post and railway markets. During the two years of my legal clerkship I also worked in the area of commercial and corporate law at a law firm and in the legal department of a Big Four consulting firm as part of the energy law team. On my admission to the German bar in 2017 and before I joined our firm in the same year, I was a counsel in the legal department of a postal company.
