About Me

I am a partner in our Competition & EU Law Group in The Hague where I specialise in competition law and public procurement law, advising on contentious and non-contentious matters for a broad variety of our clients.

With in-depth experience in merger control, cartel cases and the abuse of dominance, I also have broad expertise in acting as a compliance officer in meetings with competitors. In addition, my practice also consists of advising on distribution agreements and I frequently provide in-house competition compliance programmes and training to clients. This comes along with extensive experience in drafting codes of conducts for companies, with a focus on competition law.

I advise a variety of our clients on issues throughout the public procurement process, from reviewing tender documents and advising clients on the questions to ask procuring entities, to representing companies in court.

After being admitted to the bar in 2005, I worked for another top tier law firm here in the Netherlands before joining Bird & Bird in 2009, where I was promoted to partner in 2017.

As well as being a member of our Tech & Comms Group, I'm a member of the Dutch Associations for Competition Law and Public Procurement Law. In addition to publishing regularly, I'm co-editor of the European and Economic chapter of the Dutch journal 'Juridisch Up To Date' ('Legally Up To Date').

She combines her incredible legal knowledge with deep industry knowledge and is able to answer questions quickly and thoroughly.
